Removing rapidsvn from will not eliminate the notice. Posted: Fri 12:46 am Post subject: Re: rapidsvn ![]() You could raise an issue on RapidSVN about fixing the python2 dependency - if you get a reasonable response, then you could update the gentoo bug 735340 to say upstream is on the case. I had a quick look - there's only a little python code and its smallish scripts for supporting the build. Rapidsvn's last release was in 2012, however the home site references a github repo which does seem to be alive. I didn't think of overlay, I think I'll do that. Questions are guaranteed in life Answers aren't. You can create your own local overlay and add ebuild on it. I see only dev-vcs/kdesvn but depend on kde-frameworks. Posted: Thu 8:27 am Post subject: rapidsvn removed, local repo Gentoo Forums Forum Index Portage & Programming For more information, read the Subversion Book, not the whole thing if you don't like, but the relevant parts.Gentoo Forums :: View topic - rapidsvn removed, local repo If you can't commit, don't have permissions, or whatever, then you'll probably want to look into conflicts, I think you can do something like merging, but I'm not that advanced in subversion, so I can't really tell you. Then continue to do as you always have, when you get to work, you'll have the latest revision ( Again, assuming that the repository is at work, or do you also checkout the subversion at work?). To avoid this, I think what you should do is commit after making changes on your home computer ( If you have permissions). Well, you don't commit, and you go back to work and add some more stuff, then get back home and run an update, there will most likely be a conflict. For example, say you have a text file, you check it out from work, and you modify it at home, say you add one extra word. Okay, again, I'm no expert in this, but I have a good feeling that the marks you get are because there are having change conflicts.
